Cyber Security Tool Engineer (Blue Team) - Intern

Opportunity to work with SIEM, XDR and SOC platform helping organizations monitor and defend enterprise systems.

• This role requires a mandatory 2-year commitment (1 year internship + 1 year full-time employment after successful conversion)
• Upon successful full-time conversion, the internship duration will be considered as relevant work experience.

• Assist in deploying, configuring and maintaining cybersecurity tools such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, antivirus, vulnerability scanners and email security solutions.
• Monitor security alerts, logs and dashboards to identify suspicious activities and potential threats.
• Assist in creating and tuning detection rules, correlation rules, dashboards and security use cases.
• Support endpoint security activities, including agent installation, policy configuration, health monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Keep up to date with emerging cyber threats, attack techniques and Blue Team security technologies.
• Analyse Windows, Linux, network, firewall and application logs for security-related events.

Must have completed formal training in Blue Team or SOC operations from a recognized training institute

• Prior hands-on exposure to SIEM, SOAR, and EDR/XDR platforms as part of training or lab environments
• Good understanding of security monitoring, log analysis, and log investigations
• Ability to analyze security events and demonstrate basic incident response concepts
• Should have good written and verbal communication skills in English
